Ultimate Safaris specialises in safaris through Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. However, we also offer safaris in a number of other African countries which are often used in combination with our main areas of operation.
This cutting edge technology enables you, our potential guest, to view 360º virtual tours of some of the locations you may or will be visiting. These tours are designed to give the viewer an accurate impression of the beauty and magnificence of these locations.
These sightings reports are prepared by our specialist guides, with the assistance of our guests, after each and every guided safari. This enables you to keep up to date with wildlife and other extraordinary sightings that have occurred on our safaris.
Ultimate Safaris offers a number of different safari types and modes of transport, ranging from guided ground based, scheduled, guided fly-in, unaccompanied fly-in, self-drive, birding, and other specialist safaris. We also offer complete solutions for film crews wanting to work in Namibia

Mobile Camps:

Mobile Camps

Our mobile camps are non-participatory and are serviced and equipped to ensure that you are extremely comfortable while out in the ‘Wilderness Areas'. This allows you to relax and revel in the feeling of space and solitude that makes Namibia so special. We consider good food to be an important part of your overall experience so our catering in camp is of a very high standard - even in dry, desolate areas where this can be hard to maintain. Delicious, wholesome 3 course meals with local delicacies are prepared each evening using fresh produce where possible. All our camp chefs have their own unique specialities.

We use 3m x 3m x 2m igloo tents with built in groundsheet and mosquito screens on all doors and windows. Each tent is equipped with robust camp beds, a bed roll containing mattress, duvet, pillow, sheet and towel. The camps also have field loos and showers with water heated over the camp fire.

When four or more clients go on safari with us, a separate ‘chase’ vehicle and camp crew is normally used – unless the camping element is very short and the budget is tight. This ensures that the camp is already set up when you arrive with your guide. We keep the guest to staff ratio fairly high (e.g.4 people would have a guide, a chef and a camp hand to cater for them). The only decision you need to make in these camps is what you would like to drink from the complimentary bar.
