At Ultimate Safaris we constantly invest in guides’ training ensuring that they are constantly updated and that they never cease adding to their encyclopedic knowledge. It goes without saying that they know exactly what a "True African Safari" is all about. Not only are our guides highly qualified, each has a specific area of expertise. Together they possess the breadth and depth of knowledge to allow them to answer questions and satisfy the particular interests of each of our guests.

Ultimate Safaris is privileged to have some of Namibia’s leading expert guides in their employ, or at close proximity with regards to making use of them to lead specific safaris.

These fields of expertise include, BIRDING, NATURAL HISTORY, BOTANY, ART, MOUNTAIN BIKING and CULTURAL. Should you be in need of experts in other fields, we feel confident of being able to source these as well. In such cases we would contract independent guides - often university academics and recognised authorities - with whom we have worked before and who understand our company philosophies.

The support team of Johnny, Nyathi, and Alu are the engine room of our camping safaris. Working quietly behind the scenes to ensure the beds are freshly made, the showers hot and that the gin and tonics are cold!!
